High-quality sneakers are designed for runners who want maximum softness, comfort, and responsiveness. The main advantage of Mizuno running shoes is the balance between cushioning, stability, and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth transition from heel to toe and vice versa.
WaveSky 5 is a top-notch neutral running model with a focus on comfort and softness. The upper part of the shoe consists of a dual-layer textile AeroHug mesh, offering additional comfort and stability to the foot. The lower layer is elastic and provides excellent grip, while the upper layer is less elastic and acts as a stabilizer. It is suitable for heavier runners due to the stability provided by the new foam wave plate. The sole consists of a combination of Enerzy and Enerzy Core foams, providing runners with even more comfort, softness, and responsiveness. The outsole is made of X10 carbon rubber, ensuring excellent traction on various surfaces.
- Mizuno Wave: A unique technology that combines two essential elements to create excellent running shoes – comfort and stability. During running, excessive forces and tensions occur throughout the body, so to minimize the risk of injury, the right combination of comfort and stability is needed. The Wave plate allows excellent shock absorption by spreading the impact force over a larger surface. The stability of Wave technology is achieved in the outer (lateral) and inner (medial) surfaces of the shoe, designed to stabilize the foot. The fundamental elements of comfort and stability in the Wave plate are designed to be suitable for all types of athletic footwear, reflected in the lightest and most advanced shoes with the highest performance.
- Mizuno Enerzy: This is a new material in the lower part of the sole, softer, providing greater comfort and a higher energy return than all previous materials, resulting in faster running.
Mizuno Enerzy Core: It is a soft, comfortable, and elastic material in the upper part of the midsole that provides more energy return.
- Dynamotion Fit: A system that allows the upper part of the shoe to follow the movement of the foot, preventing instability inside the shoe.
- AeroHug: A dual-layer textile upper of the shoe. The lower layer is elastic and provides good grip, while the upper layer is less elastic and functions as a stabilizer.
- AirMesh: A new, lighter, more elastic, and durable material (woven mesh) in the upper part of the shoe. It provides excellent breathability for running shoes.
- Smooth Ride: A technology that allows optimal comfort and enjoyment while running. The new middle part of the shoe, developed by Mizuno based on the latest computer running simulations, provides better shock absorption and increases the flexibility of the running shoe. The extended Wave plate creates a smoother weight transfer from heel to toe.
- U4iCX: A new midsole technology, the successor to U4iC, which is 22% lighter than its predecessor. It guarantees greater comfort, a better "spring effect" in each step, and a longer lifespan.
- X10: Special rubber that is 80% more durable than the existing one. It is placed on the part of the outsole that wears out the most, effectively protecting the outsole and extending the life of the shoe.

DETERMINE THE RIGHT SIZE:

Follow these simple step-by-step instructions to determine the correct size:
- Stand upright on a hard surface, support your heel against the wall, and stick a blank piece of paper on the floor directly under the foot in contact with the wall.
- Have someone mark the longest point of your foot with a pencil on the paper or mark it yourself if needed. Repeat the process with the other foot as sizes may differ between the right and left foot.
- Measure the length of the foot from the heel to the longest toe (known as the length from heel to toe). Use the longest length to determine your size in the table above.
Not sure which size to order?
Use the table above to determine your size. If you are on the border between two sizes, choose a size smaller for a tighter fit or a size larger for a looser fit.
How to measure your feet?
Wear socks that you would wear with your shoes and measure your feet in the afternoon (feet usually swell throughout the day). Distribute weight evenly before measuring your feet.
