Food Safety Policy

POLLEO ADRIA d.o.o. establishes and publishes its Food Safety Policy in accordance with the requirements of the HRN EN ISO 22000:2018 standard, clause 5.2.

The top management of POLLEO ADRIA d.o.o. declares the following:

1. Food safety is a fundamental value of our business. We are committed to the consistent storage, preservation and distribution of food of animal and plant origin in a way that ensures its health safety until delivery to the customer.
2. The Organization is committed to full compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union related to food safety, as well as mutually agreed customer requirements.
3. The Organization is committed to establishing, maintaining, updating and continuously improving the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in accordance with HRN EN ISO 22000:2018.
4. The Organization provides the necessary resources, including human, financial and infrastructural resources, for the effective functioning of the FSMS.
5. The Organization is committed to open and timely internal and external communication on all matters related to food safety.
6. The Organization ensures that all employees are familiar with this policy, understand their role and contribution to food safety, and are appropriately trained for their work tasks.
7. The Organization sets measurable food safety objectives that are regularly monitored, evaluated and reviewed through management review.
8. Top management personally assumes responsibility for the effectiveness of the FSMS and actively supports the work of the Food Safety Team.

This policy is available to employees, customers, suppliers, competent authorities and other relevant interested parties.

The policy is reviewed at least once a year and updated when necessary.
